Red Bull is one of the few companies that give back to the community. They Sponsor many events ranging from surfing to air races. My personal Favourite is the Red Bull BC One, hence this blog.
The first Red Bull BC one was held in:
1st - Biel, Switzerland 2004
2nd - Berlin, Germany 2005
3rd - São Paulo, Brazil 2006
Next - Soweto(Johannesburg), South Africa 2007

There are a total of 16 B-Boys. Above are only 12. 9 come from battling in each of their countries. Only the Best are chosen. 3 come from the Top 3 in the Previous finals 2006 - Hong 10, Ronnie and Roxrite. The remaining 4 are chosen by an online jury with registered B-Boys on the RedBull BC One websitesite.
My personal Favourite B-Boy Has got to be LILOU crowned The 2005 RedBull BC One Champion. Wander why he didn't make it this year. Unbelievable flexiblity with power moves don't go together but this B-Boy pulls it off. He's so good that in the finals in 2005 he ask for permission to extend the normal battling time from 3 mins to 5 mins to display his skills. The judges decisions were unanimous(in complete agreement).
This years Battle is what I'm looking forward to. Getting tickets are difficult, but it doesn't matter, because you can still go for the event and watch the Battles outside the arena on a Big Screen Display with other B-Boys.
